The Academic Skills Enhancement Program administrators expect the following from all ASPSA employees and Academic Skills Enhancement Program staff:

• Collaborative problem solving consistent with ASPSA%u201Fs goals and mission
• Communication (verbal, open, honest, timely)
  
• Intentional plans for students utilizing the program
  
• Trust/mutual respect
  
• Consistency with holding students accountable
  
• Challenging students in sessions
  
• Flexibility and Adaptability
  
• Have no communication between student-athletes and the Academic Skills Enhancement Program staff outside of scheduled sessions (i.e.- exchange of phone numbers, emails, virtual communities)
